Cantor Gets Palms

Cantor Gaming continues to build its position in Las Vegas with the announcement that it will take over sports book operations at the Palms. The current book will continue to operate until the conclusion of the NCAA basketball tournament, then close for a complete remodel that's scheduled to be completed in August. A temporary sports book will be set up near the Mint Lounge in the interim. The acquisition now gives Cantor control of the sports books at seven Las Vegas casinos.

TNF

Tonight's Thursday Night Football game is Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks. Team bars following them are Madison Ave. for the Eagles and Scooter's pub for the Seahawks.

Lucky's Carryover

With no winners in the Lucky's contest last week, the carryover makes the prize for a perfect card this week $21,400. It costs $5 per entry to play. In last weeks Fezzik Fridays answer, Fezzik wrote that he didn't see this play being worth the cost and effort until the jackpot was at least $30,000 on a week with a 13-game schedule and the majority of the games having big spreads (to make betting the favorites more valuable).

Pick the Pros

There were 104 players with 13-0 records last week. The winner of the tie-breaker got $10,000 and the other 103 got $194.18 apiece.

Following Fezzik
